Eyes Out for Eclipses


Europe got a full lunar eclipse today. All we got in California was another crummy sunset.

I can’t remember the last day the sun didn’t go down. People still think it’s a big deal.

Anyhow, if you’re over in Europe or Africa, this is what it looked like over here when you were experiencing totality. Did you wonder why you got the colors you did? Thank California.

I was asleep when it happened. But it was cloudy in the Black Forest (in Todtnauberg, where we spent a few days), and it was cloudy in Basel, too.

So your sunset was better.
