On the Beach

There was a beach, and a lighthouse, so we went down to get our feet wet. I hadn't driven 2,600 miles to skip wading in the Atlantic.

Big driftwood.

On a slough we went out on a catwalk and saw all kinds of nifty nature, like . . .

. . . crabs scurrying around in the muck, and . . .

. . . this attractive green lizard. (I'm not a botanist--could be a chameleon, a skink, a T. rex, or an elephant. Sorry my taxonomy's not more up to date.)
