Something to Tilt At

Not far from where Billy the Kid met his fate, a much more modern feature graces the landscape: New Mexico's first wind farm.


These always remind me of a silent army of gentle giants from outer space when i see them at work out in the Palm Springs area. Nice to see that other states are starting to get on the bandwagon.


The area has plenty of old-fashioned farm windmills too, many hard at work.
