Speaking of Hoagies


Willie Nelson sang it; Ray Charles sang it; but Hoagy Carmichael was the one who wrote "Georgia on My Mind" (as well as "Stardust," "Buttermilk Sky," "Skylark," and a host of others).

But it's not just a musical history tour: Note also the reference to the Atlanta Olympics, where Eric Rudolph detonated a knapsack full of nails. When he went to ground, in our own country, it took the FBI years to find him. Imagine how much harder will be the job of finding Osama bin Laden in foreign terrain. Yup, can't miss a chance to mention homegrown terrorism.
